I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:

—Isaiah 45:5

Is there more than one God or Principle? There is not. Principle and its idea is one, and this one is God, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Being, and His reflection is man and the universe.

—Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 465

GOLDEN TEXT

Psalms 117:1, 2 the (to 1st .)

O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. . . . the truth of the LORD endureth for ever.

RESPONSIVE READING

Psalms 85:8 (to 1st :), 10–13; 89:1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 13, 14, 52

Ps. 85:8   I will hear what God the LORD will speak:
10  Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11  Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12  Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13  Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
Ps. 89:1   I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
2   For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
5   And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
6   For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
8   O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
13  Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
14  Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
52  Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
