. . . pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

RESPONSIVE READING

Matthew 6:19–21, 24; 24:4 Take; Psalms 92:4 thou, 5, 8 thou; 93:1, 2, 4, 5

Matt. 6:19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Matt. 24:4  . . . Take heed that no man deceive you.
Ps. 92:4  . . . thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
5  O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
8  . . . thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
Ps. 93:1  The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
2  Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
4  The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5  Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
