RESPONSIVE READING

Isaiah 45:5 (to 1st :), 12, 18; Luke 4:14 Jesus; 11:1–4, 28 blessed

Isa. 45:5   I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:
12  I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
18  For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
Luke 4:14  . . . Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
Luke 11:1   And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2   And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3   Give us day by day our daily bread.
4   And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
28  . . . blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
